Show Update about the Job Opening
Flavia Zubeldia
In my personal experience, I've been submitting proposals for a couple of weeks now and I've never received an answer from the client. I don't know if the job is still open if they hired another freelancer, nothing. It'd be good, since we take a lot of time in applying personally to every vacancy, to know what happens with the job and/or receive an answer, otherwise, it is a waste of time. I think to be encouraged by the platform to use it, we should see results. If we apply for jobs and never get one, or the client never hires, freelancers will leave the platform and it's a pity because it's a valuable idea.

Hi Flavia, thanks very much for your feedback!
We really appreciate your suggestion and will give this some further thought - in the meantime though, please note that if a client notifies us that they are no longer hiring for a position, whether that's because they have hired someone or because they've decided not to proceed with hiring at this time, the job post will no longer be visible in our job search.
If the job post is still visible, this means that that client has not indicated that they are no longer hiring in any way and, to the best of our knowledge, applicants are still being considered for the job.
Please feel free to reach out to our support team if anything remains unclear and thank you again for your suggestion!
